  • Our Process

    1. Submit Online Form: 

    Start by submitting an Installation Request Form. 


    2. Schedule Appointment: 

    We will reach out to schedule a time that works best for you, your client and our team to complete the installation.  


    3. Installation: 

    We securely install the post and provide photo confirmation. You can then hang your own sign.


    4.  Removal: 

    Once the rental period ends or the listing is complete, submit a Removal Form and we will schedule a removal date.

  • Sign Guidelines

    To ensure your signs are a perfect match for our posts, please follow these specifications:


    • Panel Dimensions: Signs should be no wider than 30” and 18”-24” in height.
    • Hole Spacing: The top holes should be spaced 19” apart, while the bottom holes for additional riders should be 14” apart.
    • Grommets: We recommend adding grommets (brass liners) to the holes to enhance durability and prevent wear, nearly doubling the lifespan of your signs.
    • Material Suggestions: For longevity, we recommend .063 gauge aluminum. For a budget-friendly option, ½” PVC is also a suitable choice.

  • Terms & Conditions

    1. Agreement to Terms


    By using Hampton Roads Real Estate Services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.


    2. Service Description


    Hampton Roads Real Estate Services provides professional sign post installation and removal services. We install the post, and you are responsible for hanging your own sign. Once the rental period ends, we will remove the post promptly after a Removal Form has been submitted. 


    3. Rental Period


    The standard rental period for our sign posts is 90 days. 


    Extensions may be requested, subject to availability and additional fees.


    4. Responsibilities


    Utility Contact: We do not contact utilities before installation or removal. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure underground utilities are properly marked.


    Site Marking: The homeowner or agent must clearly mark the spot for installation. We accept no responsibility for incorrect placements due to unclear markings.


    Sign Creation: We do not create signs but can coordinate with [Placeholder for Company Name].


    Damage to Underground Facilities: We accept no liability for damages to underground utilities or facilities.


    5. Additional Fees


    Services outside the Hampton Roads area may incur additional fees. This includes locations such as Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, Smithfield, Gloucester, Surry, Isle of Wight, Southampton, Moyock. Currituck, and other areas of North Carolina. 


    Fees for extended rental periods or additional services will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.


    6. Photo Confirmation


    Upon installation, we will send a photo confirmation via email or text for your records.


    7. Liability


    Hampton Roads Real Estate Services is not responsible for damage caused by weather, vandalism, or other external factors once the post is installed.


    We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or removal of our services.


    8. Storage


    We offer sign storage services, subject to a [Placeholder for Storage Limit]. Additional fees may apply for storage beyond this limit.


    9. Termination


    Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. If the client cancels after installation, no refunds will be provided for services already rendered.


    10. Governing Law


    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Virginia and North Carolina.   Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.


    11. Amendments


    Hampton Roads Real Estate Services reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
